Roel Barnhoorn – Global Head Bond Research and Strategy

Roel acts as Global Head Bond Research and Strategy at ABN AMRO Private Banking and is based in Geneva. Working for ABN AMRO for more than 20 years, he has held several positions within the ABN AMRO group, the latest one in private banking, heading the active Investment Advisors group in Geneva and responsible for developing and monitoring the risk on Fixed Income instruments. In 1998 he jointly set up and expanded the developments of the Wholesale Fixed Income business throughout Switzerland for the group. He subsequently joined Private Clients in 2002. At the start of his career he was actively involved in traded options & futures, convertible, equity and fixed income instruments.
